Yes. CountClub is offline-first: you add, edit and delete expenses without a connection. Everything is stored locally and syncs automatically when the signal comes back.

We're eight for the weekend. How many transfers at the end?

Thanks to the simplification algorithm, 3 to 5 transfers usually settle a group of 8 — instead of a full web between everyone. CountClub computes the optimal combination for you.

We took two cars, two people paid for gas. How do we split?

Two separate expenses, each with its payer. You can also exclude passengers of one car from the other car's gas expense (four people in car 1, four others in car 2).

The person who never pays without reminders — won't this annoy them?

CountClub shows balances without judgement. The contextual phrases add a bit of humour instead of dry reminders. The admin can also schedule automatic follow-ups after closure (Count+ feature).

How do we set it up without everyone having to install the app?

You create the count from your app and share the link. People with the app join in one tap. People without can join as guests and consult balances from any browser.

Can I freeze the count so no one adds expenses after we get back?

Yes — via scheduled closure. Pick a date and time (say, Sunday 10 pm), a banner warns everyone, and adding expenses is blocked at that time. You can always reopen if needed.

01Step 1

Share a link in the group chat

Create the count ("Chamonix Weekend"), drop the link in WhatsApp. Thirty seconds later everyone's in — even the ones who don't have the app join as guests.

02Step 2

Everyone logs as you drive

First gas station, toll, grocery run at the motorway Carrefour, hostel, dinner. Each person adds what they paid, 10 seconds per expense. Works in tunnels with no signal.

03Step 3

See balances during the weekend

At any point, who paid what and who owes who. If you want to balance out early, you can cover a round at the bar to even things up.

04Step 4

Settle in three transfers on the way home

The debt-simplification algorithm gives you the minimum number of transfers (often 2 or 3 for a group of 4–6). You see exactly how to pay each creditor (IBAN, Wero, Lydia, ...).
