One person pays an Airbnb that's shared by six — how does that work?

You add the expense, mark them as the single payer, and split it across the six (equal shares, or weighted if some took the bigger room). The balances update automatically.

We're crossing several countries, each in local currency. Does it handle that?

No signal in the valley or on the beach. Does the app still work?

Yes. CountClub is offline-first: you add, edit and delete expenses without a connection. Everything is stored locally and syncs automatically when the signal returns.

One friend doesn't want to install the app. Can I still add them?

Yes — add them as a member by first name. They don't need an account. You can also send them the count link and they'll see the balances from any browser without installing anything.

Can we lock the count after the trip so nobody adds more expenses?

Yes — closure can be manual or scheduled (a specific date, 24 or 48 hours out). You can extend, cancel or reopen it later if you need to.
