Feature · Offline
Share your expenses, even without a signal.
Offline
In a valley, on the Métro, on a plane, in the middle of a hike: you add expenses just like you would online. Everything's saved on your phone and updated as soon as the signal returns. Nothing to do.

How it works
With no signal, CountClub behaves as if you were online. Your additions simply wait for Wi-Fi or 4G to sync — silently, in the background.
Ready from the first open
The first time you open the app connected, your counts, expenses, balances and members are saved to your phone. You can reopen the app with no signal, everything's there.
Your actions work instantly
Add an expense, edit an amount, drop someone from a split: less than a second, no Wi-Fi, no 4G. The app queues your actions until the signal returns.
The app tells you where you are
When you're offline, a small banner shows at the top. A counter tells you how many changes are waiting to sync. No surprise, no doubt.
Everything syncs when the signal returns
As soon as Wi-Fi or 4G is back, CountClub sends your additions, refreshes balances and pulls in your friends' changes. It happens in the background, in seconds.
Honestly
What you should also know.
No overblown promises. Here are the real limits of the feature, to avoid surprises.
If you stay more than 30 days without opening the app, you'll need to log in again before syncing your latest expenses.
Notifications (reminders, invites) won't arrive without a signal — they travel over the internet, that's normal.
Receipt photos can take a bit longer to upload than text expenses because they're heavier.
