Contextual phrases
Bare balances can bruise. CountClub adds a well-placed phrase depending on your role in the group — big payer, big debtor, balanced. Tone defuses, never disrespects.

How it works
Phrases come from six categories tied to each person's behaviour in the count. No AI, no personal profiling — just a simple rule applied to the current balance.
The app looks at your balance in the count
It determines whether you're a big payer, big debtor, balanced, recent creditor, recent debtor, or neutral. Six categories, that's it.
It picks a phrase from that category
Each category has five variants. The choice is deterministic for a given count — the same phrase comes back in the same count, to avoid the lottery effect.
It appears under your name
Discreetly, in italics, right below your balance. Neither big nor insistent — a tone, not an announcement.
You can turn them off per count
A toggle in count settings disables phrases. If your group prefers a dry, neutral tone, you get it in a tap.
Honestly
What you should also know.
No overblown promises. Here are the real limits of the feature, to avoid surprises.
Based on simple rules, not AI. Tone is consistent but not personalised to your humour.
Toggleable per count: if the tone doesn't fit a specific group, you turn it off there without touching the others.
The phrase library evolves slowly — we prefer a solid, tested collection over an endless catalogue.
