Voice expenses

Hands full, at the counter or out on the street: tap the mic and speak. "25 for dinner, split with Léa and Tom." CountClub picks up the amount, the description, who paid and who to split with, then pre-fills the expense. All that's left is to check it.

How it works

Voice expenses rely on your phone's speech recognition: your voice is transcribed on the device, then the text is analysed into an expense that's ready to save.

    01Step 1

    Tap the mic

From a count, the mic button opens the dictation screen. You speak normally, as if describing the expense to a friend.

    02Step 2

Say the amount and what it's for

"25 for dinner", "80 for the tank", "groceries, 60 bucks": CountClub picks up the amount and the description, even in spoken language.

    03Step 3

    Name the people

"split with Léa and Tom", "Marie paid for it": the app matches the names you mention to the count's members to set the payer and participants.

    04Step 4

    Check and confirm

The expense lands pre-filled in the usual form. You tweak it if needed and save. Nothing is created without your confirmation.

Honestly

What you should also know.

No overblown promises. Here are the real limits of the feature, to avoid surprises.

Transcription depends on your phone's speech recognition: in a very noisy place, it's best to re-read before confirming.

For now, dictation understands French and English.

If a name you mention matches no member, the app leaves the field empty rather than guessing: you fill it in with one tap.

One expense at a time: you dictate a single line, not ten in a row.
