Everything is tracked. Nobody's hiding.
History & audit
Thirteen distinct actions can change a count — adding, editing, deleting an expense, a new member joining, a settlement, a closure — and each one leaves a trace. Who, what, when. Open the history six months later, it's all still readable.

How it works
History records automatically — nothing to enable. Every change adds a line visible to every count member. Available any time, filterable by action type.
Every action writes an audit line
Expense created, amount edited, member added, payment method removed, count closed: thirteen types of actions are tracked. The app does it silently, nobody lifts a finger.
Each line captures the essentials
Who performed the action, when, which object was touched. No full snapshot — just enough to clear up a doubt.
From settings, open the history
Chronological list, grouped by day, filterable. A toggle lets admins switch to the full view; others see the default visible actions.
Transparency defuses tension
When everything is visible to everyone, misunderstandings dissolve on their own. No need to accuse, no need to defend — you read the history.
Honestly
What you should also know.
No overblown promises. Here are the real limits of the feature, to avoid surprises.
History is kept as long as the count exists. If the count is deleted (by its creator), the history goes with it. GDPR by default.
Some fine-grained admin actions (changing default currency, personal preferences) aren't audited — too much noise for too little value.
Audit lines are read-only: nobody can rewrite history, not even an admin. That's the rule.
